Psalm 114:7 Let the earth feel the effect of the presence of the lord of the the presence of God
What an amazing Sunday we just had with Pastor Phil Lowe. At the a.m. service he spoke on the presence of God and at 6.30 p.m on the Holy Spirit.
The great thing about the weekend was not just that Phil spoke so well, but that we experienced the tangible touch of God.
This was confirmed by a number of people who contacted us to thank us for allowing room for God to move so powerfully in our meetings.
Many young people, a number of them saved at Harvest, experienced the Holy Spirit in an evident way, they where visibly overwhelmed with the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit on their lives.
I love seeing lives touched like this and we will always believe for this experience to define and illustrate the journey of our church.
Lets never mistake atmosphere for the presence of God, they are two separate things altogether. Also lets never misinterpret being relevant for being filled with the Spirit of God as these are both important but separate things.
